Couples and Intimacy

Notes From Dad

Couples and Intimacy

This area is a vital part of any relationship; it is a human need that all of us need and enjoy. However, there are different forms of intimacy and each one vital to create a loving and satisfying relationship. This article will attempt to explore some different elements of intimacies, that I feel that as a couple, you may want to share with one another.

As a couple you need to know that intimacy is a loving and an important part of your togetherness. You both need to be comfortable and honest in whatever element you desire and choose.

Verbal intimacy is the art of a painting a seductive imagery or story that unleashes a desire to be sought after. It is an oral seduction that brings about a mysterious and dark conversation that heightens the intensity and satisfaction that couples seek in one another. It can be flirty and sexy or more dominating; it is the giving of emotions and sharing a connection between each other; it speaks volumes of trust and is a major component in maintaining a loving relationship.

Physical intimacy is another element that allows you and your partner to experiment the art of touching; it can be performed various ways such as soft caresses of the face, arms and other hot spots; oral stimulation, such as soft kisses to the neck or shoulder can help in stimulating the lover inside you. Again, the key to all intimacy is communication to each other, what are your likes and preferences. This area plays a vital role in your relationship because you and your partner are allowing one another to venture into an area of commitment and responsibility.

My final element, as a couple is understanding; not all relationships need to be verbal or physical, but all are very emotional. Without some form of intimacy a relationship may have a difficult time sustaining each other’s wants and needs; there may be a separation of interests and lack of desire that could lead to finding satisfaction and appreciation elsewhere. Understanding the needs and wants of each other may help to build the bond needed to succeed and enjoy life together.

Good Luck!!
