Great Moments in a Relationship

There are many great moments in a relationship between partners, none of which is more special than when you celebrate becoming a parent for the first time. For you couples just beginning a relationship, understand that no longer does having a ring on your finger dictate the choice of having a child.

There have been studies that having a child may place stress on a marriage and couples may feel that what they once had is gone, however, if you and your partner have communicated your true feelings, the first time you hold your child will be a magical moment. Your first child will always hold a special place in your heart and to have that bond completes what parenthood is all about. If you are lucky like I am this moment lasts a lifetime.

Please understand that in everything life has its lows and highs, but honestly, my greatest memories are spending time with my sons & daughters. Children give special moments for us to appreciate; the smiles they put on our face, the hugs they give and their ability to make us feel good goes beyond words. These moments may be the reasons most parents decide to have another child.

This being said, remember that great moments in a couple’s relationship depend on how well each of you communicate throughout the process. Whether you have one or more children, always cherish the first born because they shape our lives and give meaning to life each day.
