Books Genres That Could Reveal You and Your Partners Personality
Notes From Dad
Many of us have read at least one book; it may have been for fun, school, or business. We learn to read at an early age, and at such an age, the types of books you choose could also determine your personality. This article will look at several genres and attempt to identify the personality behind the book.
The first book and its genre is fiction. Some people get confused by this because they feel it's a true story. However, don’t confuse it with non-fiction, which is a true account of events in a story. If your partner is into fiction, you may want to consider yourself fortunate. People that enjoy fictional stories may have a vivid imagination. They tend to be more logical and have passion that may be expressed emotionally and physically. Fiction is an outlet that enables you and your partner to problem solve by thinking outside the box.
The next genre is Action and Adventure. This type of book has two main parts: action and a story that besets one or more problems. If you or your partner enjoys these types of books, the personality associated with this genre is a fast-paced life, taking risks, and creating excitement. In other words, you won’t be having many dull moments; remember, “action speaks louder than words.”
One of my favorites is the non-fiction genre; in other words, reading about true events. A person who enjoys reading non-fiction is usually down to earth. They have steady 9-5 jobs, usually have a daily routine, and they view the world by paying attention to all that surrounds them. Their main behavior is to review, study, and analyze all that surrounds their life. Thus, if you or your partner are like this, you can count on a relationship that deals with basic facts and less imagination.
Finally, the last genre is the horror book. You may ask why would someone want to scare themselves. Well, horror books, both fiction and non-fiction, serve a purpose. Horror books assist in helping you and your partner cope with anxiety, stress, and fear. Readers of horror books tend to create vivid scenes that tap into their emotions. It’s a stimulation that produces a feeling of fight-or-flight. So, if you and your partner enjoy this genre, be careful, because this book may create painful memories and bring to light past events that may affect your relationship in some form of negativity.
Good Luck!
