Would You Rather

Last week many people took advantage of the beautiful weather outdoors; that being said I took advantage of engaging people by playing a conversational game entitled “ would you rather”. This activity is a fun game to play with your partner or even at a party. It can paint a picture of you, your partner and friends. This article presented couples with four different scenarios and I would like to share their responses and why.

The first question- “would you rather” -meet your partner on-line or at work. This was somewhat surprising, as 70% of the couples chose on- line. The reason given for choosing online was that it was less intimidating and you are able to pick and choose with no pressure. The 30% who chose at work, felt meeting online could be risky and felt when meeting someone at work you get to know them and really have a better connection.

The second question- “would you rather”- on your first date go to a crowded or a quiet secluded place. This was close, 60% of the couples felt that going to a populated place was a safer atmosphere and it gave more options if the date is not working out; while the other 40% preferred a quite romantic dinner; where you are able to spend a certain amount of time getting to know one another with little to no distractions.

The third “would you rather” question was to live in the city or country. 30% chose the city and 70% chose the country. The people who chose the city were folks who had grown up in a city; they were comfortable with all the noise and business, while the people who chose the country enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Finally, the last question was - “would you rather” kiss on the first date or just give a hug. This question was split down the middle 50-50. When it came to kissing, 50% felt that kissing was not necessary, especially, if they wanted a second date, and one person felt by not kissing it would improve the couple’s chemistry. The other 50% felt kissing was fine; it showed appreciation and a pleasantry. Try this out with your partner and get to know them better!
