Virtues in One Another

We all want that magical and unconditional love to last forever, however, to do that when a couple first starts to date and get to know one another, it’s important to look at the virtues of your partner and their family because that might give you a snapshot into the future. This article will touch upon a few virtues that may allow you that wonderful and happy ending we all want.

First, you want your partner to be reliable; to be there when you need them; you want their support and patience when unpleasant issues arise. A reliable partner, who will listen, communicate and offer support through sound judgement.

Second, the virtue of honesty; this is so important due to the fact that many life decisions are made which may embellish your relationship and have lasting consequences. Honesty is a virtue that (like glue) sort of holds the relationship together and relates back to reliability; their word is their bond.

The third, is one’s character; character possesses many forms of virtue, some of which we previously have mentioned. A person who has quality character is the type of person you want to be with and be influential in your life; someone that brings out your best.

Finally, morality; morality is a tool that empowers you to make wise decisions; morality is a virtue most people learn at a young age; that is why looking at your partner’s family, may give you an insight to your life together. Morality symbolizes how your life is currently; it is not taught but learned from observation and uncovering.

These four examples do not guarantee love and happiness, however, if you put forth the effort and trust, then these virtues may help you and your partner experience the joys of togetherness. Always remember that respecting one’s virtues is important in a relationship because respect is the cornerstone toward your goal of happiness.
