Find Your Perfect Metal For Your Wedding Ring

And now, a message from our metals...followed by our Inlays...

Why Cobalt Chrome?

In short, they are the more "white gold" and "platinum" color of the alternative metals on the market with a nice weight - not too heavy, not too light.

  • Although there are trace amounts of nickel, this metal is still considered to be hypoallergenic

  • Weight is similar to Solid Gold

  • Scratch resistance is significantly better than Solid Gold but not as tough as Tungsten

Why Damascus Steel?

In short, Damascus Steel is made from two or more different grades of stainless steel. It feels lightweight and looks really cool as each ring is forged into its own unique pattern.

  • Each ring is entirely unique as it is forged from several stainless steel rods

  • Its look only gets better over time as it's unique pattern can hide any scratches that appear

  • Weight and scratch resistance is similar to Solid Gold

Why Titanium?

In short, It's lightweight, strong, and is a unique light gray / silver color.

  • Considered to be highly hypoallergenic - made with aerospace grade 5 Titanium

  • Strong and super lightweight - will always hold it's shape

  • Similar in scratch resistance to solid gold

Why Black Zirconium?

In short, it's considered hypoallergenic, chemically resistant, and has a unique charcoal gray color.

  • Considered to be hypoallergenic

  • Considered to be chemically resistant (yay chemistry nerds!)

  • Lightweight and strong

Why Tungsten Carbide?

In short, it's inexpensive, highly scratch resistant, and is heavier than solid gold.

  • Highly scratch resistant

  • One of our most heavy materials

  • While very strong, Tungsten can be brittle and thus can tend to crack if dropped on hard surfaces

Why Ceramic?

In short, it's inexpensive, scratch resistant, and is lightweight like Titanium.

  • Highly scratch resistant, very tough and considered hypoallergenic

  • The color won't ever fade as it runs all the way through the material

  • While very strong, Ceramic can be brittle and can tend to crack if dropped on hard surfaces

Why Tantalum?

In short, this metal is rising in popularity due to being hypoallergenic, incredibly strong, and having a rich gunmetal gray color.

  • Significantly heavier than any other metal and shatterproof

  • Has a gunmetal gray color to it - very manly...

  • Considered hypoallergenic

Why Precious Metals?

In short, they sport a classic look, hold value for years to come, and can be resized if there are no inlays.

  • Hold their value for years to come

  • Available in several colors (white, yellow, rose gold and platinum)

  • Being softer metals, they can tend to scratch but can be repolished

Why Silicone?

They are stretchable and very resistant to breakage. They are also great for the gym and any other time you need more freedom.

  • Super comfortable and flexible

  • Non-conductive (safe for electricians)

  • Hypoallergenic

  • Lightweight and sustainable

  • Super comfy

  • Non-conductive (unless there is a metal inlay)

Why Barrel Steel?

In short, these barrel rings are super cool because they're made directly from shotgun barrels. This steel is durable, mid-weight, and easy to maintain.

  • Lighter than Tungsten but heavier than Titanium in weight

  • Strong, Durable, and Low maintenance

  • Corrosion and Tarnish Resistant

Why Pressed Black Diamond?

  • Super scratch resistant as they are made of DIAMOND!! They are actually the hardest, most scratch-resistant rings available on Earth

  • Lasts forever and maintains an artisan sheen that never fades

I have a Nickel Allergy. What metals are ok for me?

While some people are highly sensitive to anything on their skin, our all wood rings, Black Zirconium, Carbon Fiber, Titanium, Solid Gold, Cobalt Chrome, and Silicone rings are going to be your best bet.

And now....The Inlays!!

What the heck is....?!?

Meteorite

In short, the one, the only, from the sky kind of thing. It's genuine and really really cool. Geek out with us.

Our meteorite rings are made from either Gibeon or Muonionalusta Meteorite, which was formed in space billions of years ago. The rarity, origin and pattern of each meteorite ring makes it a distinctive piece of art. Meteorite is primarily composed of iron so special care must be taken to prevent oxidation. See care instructions here.

Dinosaur Bone

Our dinosaur bone comes from bones too small or broken to be displayed in museums. It's available in three different colors - black, tan and red.  No dinosaurs were harmed in the making of these rings - teehee...

Cerakote

Typically used as a coating on the outside of guns, Cerakote is a durable way to add a little color to your ring, either as an inlay or a hidden sleeve inside. Keep it away from chemicals (hand sanitizer, lysol, bleach, etc) to keep your color looking great. For custom rings, we have a wide selection of those colors to choose from.

Are Your Wood/Antler/Dino Bone Rings Waterproof?

Yes and No. Our "In Stock" wood rings are water-resistant but not waterproof. Our jeweler protects and seals the wood in with an epoxy but they are not meant to be worn in the shower and in the hot tub/pool/lake/ocean. They will not fall into pieces after one shower, but please don't make it a habit.*Obvious submerged water damage to your wood ring will void your one year warranty*

Our Made to Order and Custom Rings are handmade with a tougher resin that will hold much better. We still do not recommend submerging them in water, especially the hot tub, but they are made to last the test of time and rings in these collections only are covered under our Lifetime Warranty.
