Couples’ Advice for the Holidays

Thanksgiving has officially passed and now we start the holiday season. Is there a greater time to enjoy life- yes and no. Couples of all ages want to enjoy this time but you need to heed some advice;

Couples, usually do not have much money, so try to avoid spending cash; my advice is personal gifts that shows your uniqueness and creativity; here are some tips:;

  • Giving homemade gift certificates to one another;
  • Maybe a loving card that could suggests a romantic interludes, such as a stroll on the beach or walk in the park;
  • Partners love receiving compliments, so instead of being annoyed by your partner's bad habits try to embrace them;
  • Offer to spend a day of watching football or any other sport that brings you together, and finally most partners love massages;
  • Set up a day or night ( I prefer night ) for a relaxing massage with soft music and candles;
  • Other ideas for partners that won't cost money is a song about your feelings, record a song on phone or create a video;
  • A coupon book is a fun idea; have five to ten suggestions your partner can turn in at any time.

One bit of advice that costs absolutely nothing is to treat one another with love and respect, this may seem insignificant, but honestly we all want to be loved and respected. My final thoughts: a gift should come from your heart; it should be helpful and bring happiness into your partner's life; Many of us do not have the income we once had, so be creative and show your love by providing meaningful, thoughtful and loving gifts.

Good Luck!!
