Summer Marriages
In a few short weeks the magic of Summer will be upon us with the warm weather and longer daylight hours. At one time the month of June was the most popular, however, October has now claimed that spot. Few months ago I discussed marrying in the Spring and now I would like to discuss my favorite season, Summer.
A Summer wedding gives a couple so many wonderful options, such as venue, food, flowers and colors. Costs can also be lowered if you and your partner chose to cater an outdoor wedding. Below I will offer some ideas and suggestions for your Summer wedding.
Flowers: Choosing flowers for a summer wedding is plentiful. Some of the choices could be; Oncidium Orchid, Sunflowers and Poppies, Daisies and Roses. Try your hand at making keepsakes bouquets and your bridal bouquet by experimenting with bright sunny colors that will enhance your theme.
Theme: There are several themes that will impress your guests and create lasting memories for you and your partner.
My favorite is a beach wedding. A beach wedding may be a simple yet eloquent affair. Remember, if you decide to have a beach wedding, you will need a permit, which will cost around 100.00 dollars. What is fun about a beach wedding is the number of guests; it could be very small or very large.
Another popular theme is the Rustic; This type has sort of taking over and now is a popular wedding traditional theme. Most Rustic themes take place in the great outdoors, where you can share your love for one another and the love of nature. What is special about a Rustic wedding is that you can do basic nature colors and still create a lasting impression.
Finally, a few suggestions;
- Try to attend a summer wedding to get the feel of what you would like to create and colors that set your tone.
- Sample the kinds of foods that are available and stay true to your budget.
- Remember Summer weddings are the most popular, just remember if you have it outside don’t forget the sunscreen.
