The Gimli™ is crafted from black zirconium, a metal that develops a deep charcoal-gray color through a heat-oxidation process. The result is a dense, scratch-resistant ring with serious weight and presence — built like the dwarf it's named after.
The weathered finish gives The Gimli™ a battle-worn, textured surface that looks like it's already survived a campaign through Moria. It's not just cosmetic — the finish adds tactile grip and depth, making this ring look even better with everyday wear and the minor scuffs that come with it.
The signature Gimli helm etching is precision-engraved into the zirconium and filled with gold Cerakote, a military-grade polymer coating originally developed for firearms. Cerakote bonds tightly into the engraving channel, meaning the gold detailing holds its color and definition far longer than standard paint or plating — no fading under pressure or frequent wear.
The beveled design features a comfort-fit interior, meaning the inside of the band is gently rounded rather than flat against your finger.
