The Halo is built on satin silvered black zirconium, a metal formed by oxidizing zirconium at high heat to produce a dense, charcoal-gray surface layer. The result is a tough, lightweight band that resists everyday scratches without sacrificing a refined, modern look.
A custom dyed blue burl wood sleeve runs the interior of the band, tying back to the iconic earth-toned vistas of the Halo universe. Because burl wood is sourced from natural growths in the tree, every ring carries its own one-of-a-kind grain pattern — no two are exactly alike. The sleeve also lay under a protective layer of epoxy to prevent the wood from drying out or cracking.
Four bezel-set Swiss blue topaz stones are secured around the band in protective metal bezels that hold each stone firmly in place. Swiss blue topaz is prized for its vivid, saturated sky-blue color, lending just the right flash of color without overpowering the ring's tactical aesthetic.
