Finish did not last.
Unfortunately, I ruined my wedding ring with use. The black finish will scratch off fairly easily. After a just few weeks my ring looked pretty rough. A small V shaped chunk also broke off of mine while at work, but that’s more of an issue with the tungsten material. Seems like a costly ring to only be able to wear it for special occasions.

The downside to plating is that it can scratch and over time may need to be re-plated at a jeweler. It's nice to be able to get that rich black color and gold without having to pay the premium price for solid, but scratching will happen. It can be made worse by chemical use and if it rubs against something hard that can cause scratching. Tungsten, while super scratch resistant, can break or shatter, if dropped or slammed against anything hard as well. We'd be happy to replace it under warranty for you for free and you could even choose a different band that isn't plated. I have included those below. Please let me know what you'd like to do. Thanks!
